Buzz: Essie Nail Polish

Nail polish is the easiest way for someone to spice up their outfit. I have tons and tons and tons of different nail polishes ranging from colors to brands. I've heard many positive reviews about Essie nail polish, even salons prefer this brand. I was reluctant enough to find this nail polish discounted, for $3! haha what a save! After wearing it for a couple weeks i now understand why everyone is raving about it, this nail polish is freakin' awesome! i wore it for 5 days straight without any chips a nail polish has never lasted like that for me nad im truly impressed. I got the color "Swept of my Feet" a nice rasberryish color and its gorgeous! I rate this nail polish 5 stars out of 5 of course!

Do you have blemishes?
I know i sure do, the other day i was looking through my medicine cabinet avoiding the benzoyl peroxide crap my doctor and dermo and family friend reffered me to. I know my skin, and ive tried all of this medicine benzoyl peroxide stuff IT DOESNT WORK, personally i dont want to wait 3-6 weeks before my face starts clearing up, i want something overnight. Typical, and impossible right? WRONG! so as i said i was looking through my medicine cabinet and then VOILA! I found this jar of tea tree oil, and ive heard some of its "healing powers" with a q tip i applied it over my blemishes and i swear to you within an hour my face was looking MUCH better, the reddness was almost completely gone i was so shocked. So the next time you have a break out i suggest trying tea tree oil you can find it in most stores and pharmacies and its over the counter. Good bye blemishes hello sexy skin!

After cleansing your face in the morning, fix your brows with a spoolie! It works great, they are fairly inexpensive as well. I'll be honest, mine was free! I got it from Sephora and instead of trying out mascara i pocketed it! ahaha :]

Blue Baby!

Hiiii,
today's makeup is a bit dramatic, especially for me but i had an urge to put on blue eye shaddow today.


What I used:
Eyes:
1. Shimmery teal color all over the lid
2. A darker shimmery blue in the crease blended and swept to the middle of the crease
3. A dark shimmery plum color over the dark blue in the outer crease blended
4. A shimmery frosted blue on the brow bone.
Face:
1. Estee Lauder Equalizer foundation
2. Savvy finishing powder
3. A bit of a pale pink cream blush
4. Estee Lauder goddess bronzer
Lips:
1. Blistex lip balm
2. Baby pale pink lipstick
3. victoria's secret gloss...the one that tastes like coffee! haha

Before heading off to bed apply lipbalm to your lips to wake up to nice moisturized smackers in the morning! :]

I changed my name, i am now thelovelylovely...lame i know but it flows?
I tried a look using shimmery colors which reminded me of a beautiful summer sunset.

One the Eyes!
1. Shimmery Pink eyeshaddow on the lid
2. Dark shimmery plummy violet eye shaddow in the outer crease pulled inwards
3. Shimmery lilac eyeshaddow on the browbone
4. L'oreal's violet cream liner on the upper lashline and lower lashline
5. Black eyeliner on the water and tight lines
6. Covergirl's eyelights mascara for hazel eyes
7. Done!

On the Face!
1. Nutrogena healthy skin moisturizer
2. Maybelline coverstick corrector concealer (the green one)
3. Covergirl fresh complexion concealor (over the green)
4. Maybelline purestay powder foundation

Fashion Frenzy

To the reader who happened to stumble upon this page,

It has come to my attention that this week is New York Fashion Week, and knowing myself as a fashion lover I should've known about this months in advance! But honestly I found out last week due to a twitter post, what a fail moment right? This year's Fashion Week sponsored by Mercedes-Benz taking place in Berlin, New York, and Miami, sporting some of the most renown designers known to man including: Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Anna Sui, BCBGMaxAzria, and Carolina Herrera. Each designer exhibits a new twist on today's style. For instance, according to the Wall Street Journal, Elie Tahari illustrated the stylish vest trend with a spicy craze of "knee-length braided fox vest and copper-leaf beaded silk dress with a fox fur handbag..." Other designers like threeASFOUR featured dark, completmentary colors such as the dark olive color: I really like the use of dark colors like the black and green looking, reminds me of a type of Villain outfit Medusa or an arch nemisis would wear. Very nice :)
