So 'tis the season to dig up all of those dark, unfaded, outfits from the bottom of the bottomless drawer of your dresser buried way beneath all of those summer do's and don'ts. Fall/Autumn whatever you may call it is here, and has been here for awhile so all of you people who are still wearing clothes made for warm weather its time to put them away. Anyways this post isn't directed towards fashion but towards your makeup focusing on the lips. Dark, bold, and pigmented lips are great for making a statement, easy to pull off, and quite the attention grabber. But for all of you who are afraid of trying this hawt trend here are some tips to boost your confidence.

Oh.My.God Look at her LIPS

1. When you find the right color combo for your face you'll fall in love with it, and it'll be easier for you to wear it.
2. If you are not used to wearing pigmented lipstick/lip gloss go out and buy a nude/pink lipstick so you can get comfortable with the idea of wearing lipstick and the application process.
3. Wear it at home behind closed doors and I do urge you to stare at yourself in the mirror and make a habit of complimenting yourself, this will not only allow you to wear bright lipstick in public but will also make you feel better about yourself.
4. Make your friends do it with you, sometimes its fun to match your makeup or wear similar colors on your face and that way when you're in public people will judge you as a whole if that's what you're afraid of.

First day of school outfit, thought it was pretty darn adorable. Wbu?

Naturally Neutral

Usually for parties i'd glam it up a bit, but tonight i thought i'd go with a neutral look, with gold all over the lid, a darker mocha brown in the outer, and a shimmery white highlight to top the eye shadow off, then i lined my lid with L'oreal's black liquid lineur intense liner and finished my eyes off with covergirl volume lashblast mascara. For my face, i used aveeno daily moisturizer, Rimmel matte foundation in buff beige, and warmed up my face with nars laguna bronzer. As for the lips a berry pink worked wonders.

So I went to Target and Marshalls today, and I picked up a few goodies.

First and foremost my new favorite scented candle, from Stick Wick in Strawberry Patch. It smells just like a strawberry fruit snack, Yum! The next thing i picked up from target was Aveeno Daily Moisturizer, kind of excited to try this out my legs have been pretty ashy lately and i sure hope this works. Last but not least i picked up Herbal Essences totally twisted crul scrunching gel, for those days i just dont feel like doing anything special to my hair, and it smells wonderful. Mmm today has been a scent-ful day..wow I'm lame.

What's sexier than having cat eyes...okay well maybe thats a bit creepy but Cat style eyeliner or winged eyeliner is popular with most crowds, and is potentially for any age. This look is great for going out, simple, and only three products are used: an eye primer, black eyeliner [or whatever you prefer], and mascara.

1. First you're going to want to prime your eyes
2. Start in the middle of your eye creating a wing outline as thick or thin, long or short as you'd like.
3. Beginning at your tear duct, line your eye thinly and once you reach the outline fill it in.
4. Line your upper and lower water lines.
5. [This step is optional] If you are going for the punky, edgy look smudge the eyeliner on your lower lash line.
6. Add black mascara
7. Voila the perfect cat eye!

Well it's true...I do love you...bracelet. This post is dedicated to my friend Remmy for picking out this gorgeous piece out! Not just the style but honestly its so pretty so I wanted to thank her in a big way and well what's bigger than telling the world that you love your friend? hmmm? I'm waiting.... haha okay well she's awesome and this bracelet is really nice. The detail is impeccable as well as the sturdy clasp so it wont fall of your wrist. New Love

Ever heard of sex and the city? How about the famous Carrie Bradshaw? My other new love besides the Nars Laguna Bronzer, is The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell is a guilty pleasure. I stopped reading those gushy girly novels but I read an excerpt of this in Teen Vogue and I knew i needed to get it, its funny, thrilling so far. And it makes me giggle ahah the word giggle makes me laugh. If you're interested in funny, girly, original books go check this one out.

Nars surprise!

So my birthday was the other day, and my bestest friend in the whole wide world the lovely ms. natalie let's call her knew i really wanted the Nars Laguna Bronzer, and guess what she bought me? Yes you guessed it the bronzer! its soo pretty, it gives me a nice golden glow and does not make me look dirty. Nars did a great job with the formula, this bronzer is dark enough to make me bronzy, and sheer enough so it doesn't look like i'm powdered dirt on my face. The hype for this product is well deserved! Brava Nars brava! Honestly I have never been so happy with a product, so if you're in town looking for a good bronzer and are willing to spend $32 get it. I'll be posting a follow up review later on to see if i still feel the same about this product which i sure i will be just as pleased. :]

Beauty Tip of the Day

I never realized how important eye shadow primer is until i finally bought some from the city yesterday. I bought the ever famous Urban Decay Primer Potion the normal one not Sin, [purple bottle]. This product truly brings out the true color of the eye shadow or shimmery base like NYX jumbo eye pencils especially in Yogurt :].
Anyways this stuff is good, yes i was weary about buying it and forking over the $18 for a small bottle but its all gooooood :)

Buzz: Essie Nail Polish

Nail polish is the easiest way for someone to spice up their outfit. I have tons and tons and tons of different nail polishes ranging from colors to brands. I've heard many positive reviews about Essie nail polish, even salons prefer this brand. I was reluctant enough to find this nail polish discounted, for $3! haha what a save! After wearing it for a couple weeks i now understand why everyone is raving about it, this nail polish is freakin' awesome! i wore it for 5 days straight without any chips a nail polish has never lasted like that for me nad im truly impressed. I got the color "Swept of my Feet" a nice rasberryish color and its gorgeous! I rate this nail polish 5 stars out of 5 of course!

Do you have blemishes?
I know i sure do, the other day i was looking through my medicine cabinet avoiding the benzoyl peroxide crap my doctor and dermo and family friend reffered me to. I know my skin, and ive tried all of this medicine benzoyl peroxide stuff IT DOESNT WORK, personally i dont want to wait 3-6 weeks before my face starts clearing up, i want something overnight. Typical, and impossible right? WRONG! so as i said i was looking through my medicine cabinet and then VOILA! I found this jar of tea tree oil, and ive heard some of its "healing powers" with a q tip i applied it over my blemishes and i swear to you within an hour my face was looking MUCH better, the reddness was almost completely gone i was so shocked. So the next time you have a break out i suggest trying tea tree oil you can find it in most stores and pharmacies and its over the counter. Good bye blemishes hello sexy skin!

After cleansing your face in the morning, fix your brows with a spoolie! It works great, they are fairly inexpensive as well. I'll be honest, mine was free! I got it from Sephora and instead of trying out mascara i pocketed it! ahaha :]

Blue Baby!

Hiiii,
today's makeup is a bit dramatic, especially for me but i had an urge to put on blue eye shaddow today.


What I used:
Eyes:
1. Shimmery teal color all over the lid
2. A darker shimmery blue in the crease blended and swept to the middle of the crease
3. A dark shimmery plum color over the dark blue in the outer crease blended
4. A shimmery frosted blue on the brow bone.
Face:
1. Estee Lauder Equalizer foundation
2. Savvy finishing powder
3. A bit of a pale pink cream blush
4. Estee Lauder goddess bronzer
Lips:
1. Blistex lip balm
2. Baby pale pink lipstick
3. victoria's secret gloss...the one that tastes like coffee! haha
